Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead
By Tom Stoppard
Directed by Glynn Oram
Tom Stoppard’s absurdist comedy exists in a limbo on the edge of Elsinore. Interrupted by the comings and goings of the court of Hamlet, two characters attempt to muse out who they are, where they are, why they are and if they are.
Along the way they deal with probability, chance, philosophy, existentialism, theatre, pirates, toenails and unicorns. In a place where every exit is an entrance somewhere else and every entrance is an exit they can’t find they tumble towards their fate.
Questions will be asked, answers won’t be given and heads will most definitely roll.
