The Culture and Sport Grants Programme Information

The Culture and Sport Grants Programme is open for applications for the financial year 2013/14. There are two application rounds with the following Deadlines:

• First Round - 3 June 2013 at 4pm
• Second Round - 4 November 2013 at 4pm

Funding Support

The Reading Borough Council Funding Advice Team is on hand to signpost voluntary and community organisations (VCO’s) in Reading to potential external funding opportunities, for example, from the National Lottery, Charitable Trusts & Foundations and local funding programmes, for new or ongoing projects. They are also able to assist you with many other aspects of fundraising; for example, from developing a fundraising strategy through to helping you understand application forms for funding; and monitoring and evaluating your projects. They also organise a variety of funding awareness events in the town for the benefit of Reading VCOs.

On the Funding Advice Team webpages you can also access the free, easy to use, online grants database, GRANTnet, which searches though over 4000 open funding programmes to give you your own personalised summary list of potential matches for your project or organisation!
